- Payment processing fees where applicable
Custom, printed or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
The Tshirt Mill reserves the right to refuse cancellation requests where stock has been ordered, artwork has been prepared or production resources have been allocated.
1.3 Artwork and print responsibility
All artwork is assumed to be print-ready at the size submitted.
Customers are responsible for spelling, grammar, sizing, placement and design layout.
We do not check or proof customer artwork unless specifically agreed.
Low-resolution files will result in poor print quality.
By proceeding with your order, you accept responsibility for the artwork supplied.
Artwork uploaded through our website is printed as supplied unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customers are responsible for ensuring uploaded files:
- Are transparent where required
- Are supplied at the correct size and proportions
- Do not contain unwanted backgrounds, shadows or compression artefacts
- Meet minimum quality requirements for printing
The Tshirt Mill is not responsible for:
- Spelling or grammatical errors
- Incorrect sizing or scaling selected by the customer
- Colour outcomes caused by unsuitable artwork files
- Low-quality screenshots, web images or compressed social media downloads
Mockups, digital previews and online design tools are indicative only and may not represent exact garment colour, print size, placement or final production outcome.
Final print placement may vary slightly from digital previews.
1.4 Direct to Film (DTF) printing
All online orders are printed using Direct to Film (DTF) printing unless otherwise specified.
For best results, artwork must be suitable for DTF printing:
- Minimum 300dpi at print size
- Solid, clean artwork with sharp edges
- Transparent backgrounds where required
DTF printing is not suitable for:
- Low-resolution or pixelated images
- Fine details, thin lines or small text under approximately 0.5mm
- Drop shadows, glows or soft transparency effects
- Complex gradients or faded edges
Files that do not meet these requirements will be printed as supplied. The Tshirt Mill is not responsible for poor outcomes caused by unsuitable artwork.
We do not adjust or correct artwork unless explicitly requested and quoted.
DTF prints may have a different texture, feel and finish compared to screen printing, embroidery or DTG printing.
Certain artwork effects including gradients, transparencies, glow effects, faded edges and ultra-fine details may print differently than viewed on screen.
Fine lines and small details may not adhere or wash as effectively as thicker design elements.
Pressing instructions must be followed correctly for customer-applied transfers. The Tshirt Mill is not responsible for application issues caused by incorrect temperature, pressure, pressing time or unsuitable heat press equipment.
DTF transfers should be stored in a cool, dry environment and used within a reasonable timeframe. Performance may deteriorate if transfers are exposed to heat, humidity or prolonged storage conditions.
1.5 Colour and print expectations
Colours may vary between screens, digital mockups, garments and print methods.
We do not guarantee exact colour matching between:
- On-screen previews and final printed products
- Digital mockups and physical garments
- Different garment brands, batches or fabric types
- RGB screen colours and printed CMYKW ink colours
Garment colours may appear differently depending on:
- Screen, monitor or device settings
- Brightness and display calibration
- Photography lighting and editing
- Fabric texture and material composition
DTF printing uses a CMYKW colour process which differs from RGB digital displays. As a result, colours viewed on screen may not exactly match final printed results.
A white ink underbase is used for all DTF prints to maintain vibrancy across garment colours. This can affect the appearance and brightness of printed colours compared to digital previews.
Colours may appear differently on different garment colours and fabrics due to white underbases and fabric absorption characteristics.
Natural fibres and blended fabrics may absorb ink differently, resulting in slight colour variation between garments.
Exact Pantone matching is not guaranteed unless specifically quoted and agreed in writing.
Repeat orders may contain minor colour variations due to supplier batches, fabric composition, environmental conditions and print production variables.
Print placement, scale and colour may vary slightly between garments and production runs. Variations of up to 5 percent in print colour, size and placement are considered acceptable and are not deemed faults.
We recommend ordering samples if colour accuracy, garment shade or print finish is critical.
1.6 Delivery and shipping
Shipping timeframes are estimates only.
Once dispatched, delivery is managed by the courier.
We are not liable for courier delays, loss or damage in transit.
Express shipping upgrades the freight service only and does not reduce production time unless a rush production service has also been selected.
1.7 Production priority
Standard orders are not delayed in favour of rush orders.
Rush orders are completed using additional labour and extended hours.
During peak periods, production may be completed closer to the upper end of the quoted timeframe.
1.8 Garment care and durability
Printed garments require proper care to maximise longevity.
The Tshirt Mill is not responsible for damage caused by:
- Hot washing
- Commercial laundering
- Tumble drying
- Bleach or harsh chemicals
- Ironing directly on prints
- Excessive stretching or abrasion
- Failure to follow care instructions
Printed garments naturally experience wear over time depending on frequency of use, washing methods and garment application.
Hospitality, industrial and high-frequency commercial environments may reduce the lifespan of printed garments.
1.9 Washing instructions
To maximise longevity:
- Cold wash inside out
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not iron directly on print
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure
1.10 Customer supplied garments
Garments supplied by customers are printed entirely at the customer's own risk.
While all care is taken during production, The Tshirt Mill is not responsible for:
- Misprints
- Heat press marks
- Damage during printing
- Manufacturing faults in supplied garments
- Garment shrinkage or dye migration
No reimbursement will be provided for customer supplied garments under any circumstances.
1.11 Affiliate stores
Affiliate stores are provided via Deco Network.
Limited support is provided for setup and management.
Store owners are responsible for pricing, content and promotion.
Inactive stores may be removed without notice.
We reserve the right to remove stores deemed inappropriate.
